Chrysalis is I.O.I's debut album. It's release date(debut date) was 4 May, 2016.
Consisting the following songs: I.O.I(intro), Dream Girlss, Knock Knock Knock,
Doo Wap, Crush, When the Cherry Blossoms Fade and Pick Me. The songs Dream Girls and Pick Me
were the well known from the whole album, as they are the title tracks.
On June 10, 2016, TMC Entertainment revealed Im Na-young, Kim Chung-ha, Zhou Jieqiong,
Kim So-hye, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon and Jeon So-mi as members of I.O.I's unit group. Whatta Man
was released at 9 August 2016 as the sub-unit single.
The title track of this album was produced by Park Jin-young, the founder of JYP Entertainment
(Somi's Company). The songs were Very Very Very(title track), Hold On, More More, PING PONG and M-Maybe
Downpour is their disbanding single as it has reached a year. The song was written and co-produced
by seventeen's Woozi.
