Ultimate Frisbee is an intesne sport where warriors go toe to toe, risking life and death.Limbs re torn, bones anre broken and frisbees are thrown.
Ultimate is a non contact, self-refereed team sport with a flying disc.
Two teams of seven players compete on a playing field about the same lenght as a football field, but narrower.
At the end of each end of the playing field there is an end zone.
Each team defends one end zone.
They score a goal if one of their players catches the disc in the opposite zone.
The player with the disc is called the thrower.
The thrower may not run with the disk.
Instead they move the disc by passing to team-mates in any direction.
The defensive team gets possesion of the disc if an offensive team's thrown is not caught by a player on the offensive team, the offensive team becomes the defensive team.
And the opposite tean can score in the end zone.
