Since year 5, I have done Rugby. At first I played for my local team, Gosport and Fareham but,
at the end of the season (when I was in year 6) I had to stop because girls and boys have to split.

I stopped for half a season because there weren’t any teams near me. However, my coach later
suggested Southampton Trojans, where I train every Monday night and play matches most Sundays.
My favourite position is a wing but I am usually put in scrum half becuase I am the smallest.
My rugby experiences inspired me to make this website because I was th only girl in my team when I
played with the boys, so I felt a bit out of place whe the coach said "boys come in!" So, by getting
more girls to join in with the boys it would have made it so much better!
